Creation / modification / deletion of Attribute Configurations can be carried out by the BIM Administrator. Using configuration: Data will be synchronized as per the Attribute Configuration that is set as default, unless you switch to / make active another Attribute Configuration.Use this option when, for example, you've removed an ArchiCAD Object and want the mapped attributes of the (once linked) dRofus Items cleared out. In brackets you will see the count of dRofus Items that are not currently linked to any corresponding ArchiCAD Objects. It will clear out all the unlinked dRofus Ite ms' attributes (that were defined to take values from the ArchiCAD Objects). Clear ALL unmatched in dRofus: This option is available only when "All objects in the model" is chosen as the ArchiCAD filter and the "Update dRofus equipment with object properties" option is selected.

To synchronize data between ArchiCAD Objects and dRofus Items, select Sync Objects with dRofus within the dRofus Menu:ĭata will be synchronized as per the Default / Active Attribute Configuration for Objects Items. Refer to Linking ArchiCAD Objects to Items in dRofus. So if all you have is JPG files like the ones you attached here, then all you can do is insert them as images. The dRofus Addon allows the synchronization of data between the parameters of ArchiCAD Objects and the attributes of dRofus Items.įor this to happen, the ArchiCAD Objects need to be linked with dRofus Items. None of these will give you any kind of object though, just images or lines that you can use. If it was created in a vectorial program (such as Archicad), then you can explode it into lines that you can use. If it is just a scan or bitmap file saved as a PDF, then you can't explode it - it is just an image.
ARCHICAD OBJECTS PDF
If they are PDFs, it may be possible to explode them into lines you can use, but it depends on the way the PDF was saved. JPG, PNG, etc) then they are just images again - nothing you can do with them except insert them in your plans. You can then manipulate these lines in Archicad as if you drew them your self. Line drawings can be imported as actual lines if they are DXF or DWG files. Images will remain as images and you can show them in your model (plans) just as you have attached them here to your post, but there is not much else you can do with them.
